Privacy Policy for TTD Express Autofill
TTD Express Autofill ("we", "our", or "the extension") is a free, privacy-first community browser extension created to assist devotees in completing pilgrim details on the official Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) booking portal (ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in).
1. Zero Remote Data Collection
We believe your personal details and religious pilgrimage plans belong strictly to you. TTD Express Autofill does not collect, track, transmit, or sell any personal or identifying information.
- No devotee names, ages, genders, addresses, or phone numbers are ever sent to our servers or any third-party server.
- No government photo ID numbers (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID) ever leave your computer.
- We operate zero tracking pixels, zero analytics scripts, and zero advertising SDKs inside the extension.
2. Local Browser Storage Only
All pilgrim profile information you save inside the extension is stored strictly on your local computer using the Google Chrome Extensions Storage API (chrome.storage.local).
- Data remains isolated within your local browser profile.
- You can delete or wipe your stored profiles at any time with a single click inside the extension popup.
- Uninstalling the extension instantly removes all saved data from your browser.
3. Permissions and Justifications
The extension requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function:
- storage: Required to save your devotee profiles locally on your computer for one-click re-use.
- activeTab & scripting: Required to automatically populate form fields on active TTD booking pages when you click "Autofill".
- contextMenus: Allows you to right-click on a TTD booking page and choose "⚡ Autofill TTD Form" for fast access.
- Host Permissions (
https://*.ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in/*): Restricted strictly to the official TTD booking portal to detect booking input fields. No other websites are accessed.
4. CAPTCHA & Security Integrity
TTD Express Autofill does not solve, bypass, or interfere with CAPTCHA challenges, payment gateways, or security verifications. Devotees solve all CAPTCHAs and authenticate OTPs manually, in complete compliance with TTD website terms of service.
